I'm looking at getting a M03M as I'm indecisive and can't decide whether I want a short or long wheelbase one (plus I like the Suzuki body).

But does anyone actually sell this in Oz. All the places I've found so far have been on Ebay or online stores based in HK.

As said above there is 3 wheelbases

Short (older style Mini Cooper
Medium (Suzuki Swift)
Long (BMW style Mini)

I think that the M03M has the best of all the cars... good turn in and good stability. You should be able to find this car at all Tamiya stockists in Australia. Just ring a shop...not every shop deals on ebay

Hadn't seen any on LHS websites or stores yet. But will give my LHS a call to see if they can order one in.

Funny how for once in life, the middle indecisive ground is the best all rounder

Default m03-m

Try Toy Traders as they are the Tamiya importer. They may be able to tell you which hobby stores have them.

I think the current opinion is that thew M03M is possibly a more balanced car, especially on tracks with lots of changes of direction

Do you think that is due to the wheelbase or is it the shell? Also, is the spacer in the chassis the only thing which is different?

Im pretty sure its the wheelbase and the new front & rear hubs (F-parts) which uses different size bearings. Everything else is the same as the original.

The rear hubs are 2 degree toe in which was an option part on the L.

AS Dan said, it is the wheelbase that gives the car its good stability and turn in
