If you want to see some Extreamly low quality cells from you know were.

Do some tests on the battery packs supplied with the Twister Electric Hellicopter. The NiMH ones. Not the LiPo ones.

The Pack that came with the Hellicopter was labeled as 650 mAh on the pack. The manual said it was 600 mAh and when I tested it they are just over 400 mAh. The terminal voltage was 8.4 volts when they arrived so they were not damaged by being self discharged to low.

I then bought two other packs. The Salesman called them 800 mAh. The packs were labeled as 750 mAh and on testing they were 600 mAh and 550 mAh. These are 7 cell AAA packs.

Now that has to be the bottom quality !.

Hehehehe, I just gotta post this picture.

It's an add for a Turbo Matcher 4/35 found on a U.S. suppliers page.

Guess what brand those batteries are in the picture.

I love how when mongs startup a topic that they know very little about and then get caught out they just say they are playing with the other members.

Why not just admit that you were wrong?

I will certainly admit when I am wrong. I just need to know which bit you want me to admit I am wrong too.... Maybe quote a message which has wrong information in it.

Well, I mean you must quote a message were I said something that is completly wrong. Dont just put words into my mouth like others are doing. I have never said the Sanyo cells are better performers than the Intellect. In fact I have said the opposite several times. I have said 2 things about the sanyo cells.

1. At a 10 Amp discharge the Sanyo has an equal or Higher average discharge voltage.

2. It's my opinion that the Sanyo is a better quality battery. And better quaility does not imply better berformance. It implies better manufacturing and higher quality control standards.

Sorry man, As I have said, I would run Intellect IB4200's in races. I have said of course they are the best performers on the track.

Which bit of that is pre-historic ?

I have also said that at one particular discharge current the RC3600HV has an equal average voltage than the IB4200. And I have 2 lots of proof. (1) The Sanyo and Intellect data sheets. (2) I tested it myself. Anyone can confirm this proof for themselves. But it seems most people who have replied to this piece of trivia are that closed minded they wont even consdier this 10 Amp rate example is correct.

All I keep getting is people putting words into my mouth "assuming" I am saying the Sanyo cells are better performers. And it doesnt seem to matter what I say people still want to keep telling me what I am saying.

Actualy the Mosc_007 refers to Sattelite hacking that I am also into.

MOSC stands for "Modified Original SmartCard"

As for dribble. I guess its just a matter of opinion. I suppose that since a discharge of 10 amps doesnt mean anything on the track people consider it dribble. I consider it Trivia.

Interesting. They look like Sanyo RC3300HV's to me. If they are GP's then they have a very similar colour scheme to Sanyo RC3000 and RC3600HV's.

The Main colour of the battery and the Outline and colouring of the numbers 3300 look very similar to the sanyo RC3000 and Sanyo RC3600HV cell.

And please dont say I have said they are sanyo cells. I am only saying they "look" like sanyo cells. I havn't said they are Sanyo cells. And it is quite likely they are not Sanyo cells.

BTW, I don't own any Sanyo RC3300HV cells so I am only going on the colour scheme used on the RC3000 and RC3600HV which I do own.

I paid $13 per cell from the battery Doctor. Every cell was in good condition when they arrived. All 12 Cells had a terminal voltage of 1.1x Volts.

Even at $13 per cell I am sure they are much dearer than Chinese made cells. But that is true for just about anything when comparing prices of Japanese made goods compared to Chinese made goods.
