the thing is... ACT whole cub goes to every event anyhow.

so they should just win stock by a bigger margin now.

With the Canberra round, could someone join in and run for a club as a temp member?

Cheers

TJ might be nice, as long as you're a member of a club, not necessarily a regular club to the challenge cup

yeah trev, thats what i was getting at i think, what i mean is, that if old school is a paid memeber of the wodonga club, is he allowed to race at the challenge cup round in Canberra and either not earn points or earn points for the wodonga club, in other words, does he have to be a member of a NSW club to enter the event?

Is that you Luke? At the moment the answer is no but we are working on a solution for the challenge. The nitro pit lane is wide enough and is in front of the drivers stand and is above track level but only just high enough if your standing up. Two possible solutions we are working on are maybe getting a small crane lift in or building a portable ramp to go on top of pit lane.

We have put some new cut throughs in the track to take out the huge Nitro jumps and make the furthest distance the car gets from the stand not as bad as the back of the circuit is very hard to see a 1/10th car. Some new jumps will go in in place of the big triple and on the weekend our laptimes around the shortened circuit without the jumps was 24-25 seconds, so I expect it to go out to 28 secs with 2 more sets of jumps. The surface is no rougher than Maitland was but with heaps of grip due to the amount of rain we've had there and how damp the place stays due to the cold and shade. Lots of work planned in the next few weeks to make sure its gonna be a great race meet.
Seriously looking forward to it.
And yes, it's gonna be cold, already had a few 0 degree mornings this week.

Accomodation for our round of CC.
The closest hotel to the track is the Crestwood which is probably 5-700 meters from the track

or the Heritage which is about the same distance
