Fantastic shot Brooke.
Your driving is REALLY improving too - watched the novices a bit today while I was helping out Josh and I have to say that you are getting quicker and quicker..............must be your grandad's influence - cause it aint your dads skills being passed on!!

Feedback from our day with the kids at the recent Muscular Dystrophy Camp.
A big thanks to Venom Group and to many St Ives members who donated personal/annual leave time during the week to attend the day. Club rental and personal cars were used for this event. There were many a car that came off second best to the indoor soccer goal posts.![Laughing](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/laugh2.gif)

Email from camp organiser
:-
Hi Michael
Firstly my apologies for not emailing you sooner. After camp I had an extended break and am just beginning to re-surface above all the paperwork I’ve had to catch up on.
I did not want to send you a brief message in which no thought was placed, so I waited until now where I can express to you how much it meant for us to have you at our camp.
I have looked closely at our Camp Evaluations and it appears that the most popular activity on camp by far was the Remote Control Cars. I have personally never seen such a reaction from a group of kids on a camp before when they first saw the cars all set up next to the ramp. Then seeing their faces as you drove the cars over the ramp for the first time was priceless! It really meant so much to them to have been able to have a go at driving the cars themselves as most facilitators at other venues would never have allowed them to do so. They simply couldn’t believe their luck!
I thought the patience and tolerance shown by all the Club members there was to be commended. No doubt you are so very proud of the personnel you have representing St Ives RCC. Michael you have been so supportive of us since the time you first received my email, and I wanted to ensure you knew how much that means to both us as an organisation and to me personally. Manuel a huge thank you for supplying all the gear for the kids to use on the day and for your calm temperament as each car came in for repairs! We obviously could not have run the activity without your generosity, and I hope you know how much we appreciate this.
Thanks you also for donating the 2 helicopters. They were given to Tom and Max who both received their first ever trophy the following day for their ability shown when driving the cars. They were the absolute envy of everyone in attendance during the presentation ceremony.
Thanks Michael for running the evening Adults group too. Quite a few of them rated it as a 10/10 on their evaluation forms so they obviously got alot out of it.
So a big final thank you once again for your efforts at our camp and for giving the kids an experience they’ll remember for a very long time.
We would be totally wrapped if you were to come back again next year
Cheers
