Yeah once you get the hang of it Associated shocks are easy to do without a bleeder screw aswell

The groove is gonna be pretty sweet by the end of the big meet.

My 44 already has those fitted, I think the previous owners where ahead of the times

Yep, I think it will be an insanely good race day, I guess the grip will come up all day long as the track develops.

I think we need a little bit of work just to fix the 2 bad rain run off trenches and possibly some more sauce layed down in some areas and we should be ready to go.

Wont take more than a few hours I guess.

Anyone want to nominate a time - probably should be next weekend or at worst one arvo next week.

Ben
We probably need to look at the flat top as well. Bit rough between the first single and the next double.

Should we finish off the ag pipe around the tabletop?

The PVC bend on the turn in on the sweeper got hammered didnt it? Also need to glue a bend to the end of the kink before the triple?

hey mav - not sure which bit you mean?

how are people placed for saturday morning at 10am. should take 2 hours.

all we will be doing is fixing the trenches that the rain has caused.

the traction is so good we will not add anything goop to the track. fingers crossed we dont get any rain and we should be good to go for sunday week.

if the weather is kind then with all the cars running on the track on sat it will have a great groove by sunday.

We're also going to need some more white marking paint before R4.
The can I had last meet was almost finished.

Just the back edge of the flat top is rough and the landing zone after the double on the back straight is all chopped up.
I think the Flat top was the only thing that didn't get sauced.
I'm available Sat, Midday till 3pm.

Hi guys,
Looking at getting a FT T4 very soon (B44 seems like too much maintenance), any suggestions as to what gearing should i start with using a 17.5T?

I've been seeing gearing such as 78/29-31 on other fourms.

Also could i use a "Speed Tech turbo Hub" as i am on the B4? Or should i use the slipper

Regards col

Table top turn was sauced Mav, just seems to still have a beach coming out of it.

The rut after the back straight double is one of the areas Ben is talking about fixing, along with the rut just after the stump corner. Trying to get some artificial turf to cover to stop erosion there.

Guys I can't make it this Saturday, have to work out west.

Ag pipe is up at Bunnings, out the back near the saw bench, you have to look hard!! Will need a few more anchor bolts too.

Also as MH mentioned need to put something unside the Table Top turn to stop cutting that corner.

As Ben said saucing probably won't be needed, but a little water might help with the plating (it's good now, just hope the plates don't get samller!!)

B44 high maintenance???? What are you doing Col???

You can use the Speed Tech hub for the truck as well, but you won't be running anything smaller than a 72T spur anyway which AE. I think the Speed Tech hub came about for people needing to run the Kimbrough style spurs?

Will have 9 cars/trucks to tinker with after the T4 and too many spare parts building up for each, becoming insane (love it). At least the T4 has many compatable parts to the B4.

I thought the speed Tech hub came about because of the gearing requirements of the 17.5 in the B4 etc.

Sorry guys, I can't make it on Saturday. Keen to pitch in, but can't that day.

I know people don't love this track, and it is a bit silly. You have to respect the drivers doing this quad. Driving away from themselves, 1.5 meter run up.

St Ives. Quad.

All I'm saying is we need this last word, to finish the line of blissful Off Road poetry that is the St Ives track.
