Thanks for making the trip down Jarred.

The track is really coming good, grooving nearly everywhere!

Thanks everyone for making today happen. Was a great turn out with plenty of heats per round. Great racing!

Alex had a great day (his first ever race meeting). He even scored a car in the leg and lived to tell the tale! His news day at school will be full of racing lines and pits tech talk this week.

I forgot how much I liked fixing these things after I break them (almost as much as driving them).

Alex and I had a really good day today. He still wanted to run the B4 in the dark - Thanks to everyone today - great atmosphere and good racing.

By the way - has anyone thought of bringing back Junior Stock for the under 16's? Seems to be a few kids in novice that would go well if this class existed or am I still stuck in the 80's (I can still remember the original St Ives track with the wire bridge)?

Yeah, Top job on the track guys, I had great time. Easily one of the best tracks in the country at the moment. ...Imagine if that triple was made into a quad...

Shame a lot of the mod guys didn't hang around for the 2nd round of finals, but the racing was good all day. No broken parts and a backflip in the 4wd to top off an awesome day!

See you for Round 4.

You're driving next time, I'm so damn tired... Are you going to rebuild your diffs for round 4?

Bring on R4.
Yer think I might just run 2WD mod instead of 4WD with the stunt RC10 at R4. Can't break shit with that aluminium front end

Hi everyone! I haven't been racing since the track got reworked.
I'm gonna be racing again next month, hopefully.

What tyres work on the new surface? (please don't say holeshots)

Hey Ander, any tyre works if you can keep it on the blue groove

Mitch hope your body & wing was ok after this one

Man, I love at the end of that clip, another car lands on the straight too! OUT OF CONTROL!

I can't marshal that point, the sound of cars chassis slapping makes my stomach turn

How good is the groove on the track

Thats awesome! I dont even remember it happening so yep, my car must be fine

The groove the track is getting is just too good. Cant wait to get quicker and quicker. Speaking of quick, congrats to Jarred King for smashing out consecutive low 25 second laps.

Oh and Turbo Tom Clifford with his "17.5" 4wd... Triple much?

That would be unreal. It would finish the track off to perfection. I am dead keen to pitch in and make it happen.

hey all

so the track is settling in really well after the working bee. CC round will be great. we got lucky with the timing of the rebuild.

I think we need a little bit of work just to fix the 2 bad rain run off trenches and possibly some more sauce layed down in some areas and we should be ready to go.

Wont take more than a few hours I guess.

Anyone want to nominate a time - probably should be next weekend or at worst one arvo next week.
