Hey Graham, even though memberships are from the start of each year you can join the club at any point in the year and the membership fee will be reduced. SCT is 10.5, I think 13.5 boosted is accepted too.

Scott yeah we get the vintage cars out for a run occasionally, we can usually pull together enough racers for a class if given a bit of notice. You should get some vintage schumachers to go with the new ones. I might get my Topcat out for a run I just have to make a lipo mount for it.

I'll post something on the website about no racing on this 3rd sunday.

Just started your promotional body Thomas. Changed the colour scheme slightly. I have to wait for lime green paint. I don't have any
Might be about another 2 weeks.

Should look better than the old red and white, what colour are you using behind the splats?

Grey shadows under the drips and black base. The black brings out the colour in the drips

This is as far as I got on the weekend until I received the splash colours. Added chrome around the windows for something different. Most of the time I normally do black.

Your body is finished Thomas. Just need to cut it out and mount it onto the 22. I'll get Brooke to take some photos with the professional camera. This was just done on the iPhone. It even has grills top and on the sides

Looks sweet, might look good with yellow rims too!
What did you use to get the pattern for the grilles?

I used the stuff that signwriters use on the back of car windows. It is perforated.

Bugle, I don't suppose you can shed any light on this topic (please)?

I would like to see something along these lines as well. Gives someone who races something to aim for.
I think it is also excellent for novices. I have seen the impact it has in on road to have a point score for novice.

+1

I've still got a trophy for running 3rd in Novice point scoring at St Ives back in 1994 (with my trusty XX of course).
