Nice work mate. There's nothing like a new project. I've sold my lazers now to a nice dude who will hopefully join us for next year's festival so I've already begun sorting out my new project

I had a package greet me at my front door this morning on the way out.

A couple of shiny new re-re's...an Avante and Egress. I wonder if I can hide in the box they came in, for when the wife reads the C/C statement

The Egress will be shelved, and the Avante run for laughs...

Hey Stephen. You get them from rc mushroom? There's not much stock around as far as I can see

Cheers

Gday Mikey.

Got 'em from Banzai Hobby actually...great prices but slightly high shipping. All in all a pretty good deal though... a tad over $800 landed for both. Still, my Mrs won't see it as good value.....I may have to hand over my remaining testicle (she already has 1 in her purse)...

Cheers,

Steve

Your wife sounds like mine, My darling does not see the value in radio control cars but to be fair she also does not see the value in mountain bikes and vintage trucks
She is going to drop a valve when she see's this months credit card bill

Default RC10 T2 CVDS

Hi Guys,

A real question! Do modern CVDs for the T4.2 fit the t2? Rebuilding the T2 I found the CVD Centre has striped and the grub screw can no longer secure the pin. The grub screw was loose when I striped it down. The truck was lucky to finish the day!

Ahh I remember those days, but then I got a job in the industry and she now sees the value in all those hours on the net and dollars spent because it was all aimed at a career change (a bit of retrospective rationalising there, but still has softened the grief somewhat). And then you need to ride to work and you can justify a new bike every year. As for vintage trucks...well you might just have to accept that as a hard one to justify on any level, although you could call it stress counselling; shrinks are expensive.
