I think the club has a lot of potential too have one of the best tracks and facilities in south aus if the effort is put in overtime, So i wish you all the best for the future !

Awesome event guy's, hat's off to you all for putting on a great show, for the crowd, your sponsers [ the crazy amount of sponsers ] you guy's had found. Awesome.....

Thank's to Jason, Keith and Mark for a fantastic road trip again, I just love it, so many tears in the eyes from all that laughing. It was also a nice change for a couple of extra guy's coming along from Whyalla eg; Tony and Jeff and a short time Andrew, a newby from our club.
To the MMI guy's for letting us country guy's win only kidding but it was a nice change.... Thank's for that...

Great atmosphere, great track, Fantastic racing, well done.
See you all again soon.

Regards
Paul and Ryan

Thumbs up Thank You from the PLRCSCC

Hi All,

I would like to say on behalf of the PLRCSCC that we are over the moon with the way the weekend turned out.

Sometimes I did not know who I was or what I was doing but having a half a day to reflect I am absolutely staisfied.

A huge thank you to the competitors for your support and making the trip. I know we are a long way away but from the feedback, we are pleased that we could satisfy. I would like to thank Darren from Neo+ for his sponsorship, support and guidance and the awesome effort from the Gis-meister for running the event. Made it hassel free for our guys and made things flow. Professional Job.

I had a ball pitting for Dave, Hilly and Magnuts and promise to do a better job next time. I enjoyed not racing and taking it all in.

I was personally satisfied with the way Saturday turned out but the Sunday topped it off.

The shootout was awesome for the spectators and created a bit of verbal jousting between competitors, The 2 x 20min finals were a cracker. From discussions with our crew it looks like we may be adopting the 20 min final scenario if we can get enough to pit for us.

I wish I caught Paul and Keef's pitstop on Camera..... I would of won two cars on funniest home videos. Funniest thing I have seen in a long time.

I would like to thank my regular club contributors for their help becuase we would not of had an event without your help. From me Thank You!

There is one comment I made earlier this year and that was "build it and they will come"

I now have a new one "Onwards and Upwards"

Thanks to all who offered advice as we need it and have taken it on board.

Again I would like to thank you all for making the effort to come to Port Lincoln.

Hope to see you in your neck of the woods soon.

Well done to Skyla mate. I hope we made her weekend! Good job Paul. I like the way your family are all involved and even though it seems to be a big boys sport young Ryan has talent and will go a long way with your support.

Thanks for making the trip down.

Dale, Keith slipping and hitting the deck is just another super funny memory that will last for ever, and maybe his graze scars might too, it`s very hard to drive a little car with tears streaming out of your eyes.

As for onwards and upwards, you have a hard act to follow Dale, it was near perfect, hopefully it will be better attended next time because the people will know it was a great meeting.

Just on another note Port Lincoln is always a great place to visit with excellent food, scenery, friendly people, great weather ect. What more could you ask for......

Oh by the way Skylar had a ball, she loves being involved, Ryan too is really starting to enjoy the hobby, I can only hope it stay`s with it, we will see.

Dale and the Port Licoln Club,
Paul, Browny, Keith and Myself have been away racing together to a number of events. This one rates up there with the most enjoyable. Well done and keep it going.

I really enjoyed the the close racing. Well done Browny. A deserved win which has been a long time coming (Go Shadow Racing). Exciting to watch Paul and Darren battle in Truggies. Well done Paul.

Good to catch up with the Adelaide blokes again after the holiday season and good to meet some new people in the sport.

Thanks to Tony, Jeff and Andrew for making the Cascade contingent bigger.

And finally, thanks to my sponsors for supporting my racing MMI-Mugen Seiki, Neo+. RCHobbyzone-Sanwa,LRP. Ryper Hobbies-AKA.

Cheers All

Hi all,
I'm glad you all had fun. I enjoyed it myself and Im glad it's over and we can now relax I know I did not have a great run with everything attached to my car having fallen/broken off at least once over the weekend, it was kind of frustrating, but gave me a bit of time to spectate and take in some great racing.
Thankyou all for attending, you have helped us to promote the sport of rc racing in Port Lincoln in the best possible way. Can't wait to see you all back here next year.
The intro to the race format now gives us no excuses for attending your clubs in the near future.

Thanks

Phill

You should be able to download a relatively high resolution file straight from the Photobucket site.

If you want to print the photo drop me a PM or an email and I can send you the original.

Photography is a hobby for me so I offer the images freely, but ask if they are published or posted that I am credited.

.... in the mean time I will work on my post count so next time I can post the link on RC tech.

Got some great shots there Sinn.

Definitely a skill to snap little cars buzzing around the track at a million miles an hour.

If you want to increase your post count, go through the For Sale thread and give a few bumps.
You'll be able to post links in no time!

Glad everyone had a good time at the event. Was physically exhausted come Monday not to mention extremely sunburned. Apologies and Thankyou to Tony and Grandpa for their help on Sunday. On again sorry to Tony for destroying your shocker. Have learnt a valuable lesson though. Will never go to another race meet again with only one receiver hump pack. Cost me the overall win in the B's. However despite that i had a great time. Watching Paul go nuts with the truggy was awesome. Wondered if that thing actually had brakes!! Thankyou to all drivers for coming and Gis for running the racing. Also for cracking the whip when marshals were needed. Special Thankyou to PL club members for helping set up the entire event. Can't wait til we do it all again next year. P.S. Thankyou to Darren for sponsoring the event.
