PLRCSCC Opening Race Event
 

Hi all,
Port Lincoln Radio Control Sporting Car Club (PLRCSCC) has been developing as a club now for 18 months, and plan on having an opening day on the 3/11/2012.
We plan on having an evening event and would be very happy for any visitors that wish to attend. There are plans on holding this as an annual event.
We have a website (Which being a new member I cant post URL, so google PLRCSCC to find us!) and a forum attached. Please feel free to visit, join as a member and express any interest on the site.
As for the facilities we are currently about to start track development, with a design of the track layout on the website. We run an AMBrc timing system also.

Hi all,

short notice I know but we are in the middle of a track redesign and will not have the track ready for our original opening date.

It has been cancelled until further notice.

We will be holding an annual cup in February. More info to come.

Hi Shayne,

We have our AGM on the 20th and we will be making the decision then.

I am thinking that this will be combined with our Neo+ Event in February.

I was wanting to put a Photo of our track up but I am unable to because I am new to the RC-Tech forum.

Discount is Guaranteed cheapest flight available regardless when you book. This equates to $200.00 return from Adelaide even if the system shows none available. Discounts are for family members as well so why not take a break while you are here.

Please contact the Port Lincoln Tourist Park on 08 8682 2300 or email Peter and Maria on [email protected] with your requirements and they will contact you. The 10% discount is only available over the period of the race meeting unless you wish to extend your stay. Peter is an RC racer and has a small track at the park.

The PLRCSCC will assist with transport to and from the track and depending on flight bookings will try and arrange airport transfers if possible.

Once you have received confirmation of your flights please forward them to [email protected] to help with transfers.

Any chance of estimated start and finish times for this event???

This will be determined by the number of racers but I would think same as Tri- Series. Practice most likely from 8.30am Saturday and I would think finishing around 5.00pm on Sunday depending on how things go. You would need to allow an hour if you are planning to fly back Sunday and I would book the latest flight.

Gismo will be running the event. What do you think Gis

Normally, I would like the event to be finished by around 4 pm, so that people can leave for there trips home. Normally this is driving. Depending on how people are getting to and from the event, we will try to suit the majority.

So last race finishing around 3.45, Trophys at about 4.

Will depend on numbers though :)
