2011 ORRCA QLD 1/10th EP Offroad Titles
#167
as for being run poorly well every body has their own opinion I thought it ran quite good ,every thing was provided even lights at night so you could stay back and work on your car. And not having to call for marshalls was nice. If we did not have any rules then I would have run my stock car with a 6.5T and weighed 1200g. Not every one likes rules I hate getting booked for doing 80k in a 60 zone.
If we had followed the rules that the ORRCA rep wanted then you may have been disqualified rather than given a stop go for jumping the start.
As for Run poorlybit of an insult to the volunteers who have put in a solid effort at short notice and to those who worked all week to get everything sorted for the event.
Just on a more serious note, a lot of people put a huge effort into stageing the event. A lot of it was done without a president, as the president had resigned on his own accord six weeks before the event.
Hope to see you up here again, I think you will find that club events will run as usual exception being no smoking in the pits or consuming alchol during racing, but you can drink as much as you can afterwards

I wonder if people whining about rules enforcement and how the the event was run even read the rules?.......
As far as im aware, there was quite some leanency in what penaltys could've been handed out.
Thanks to all who made the event possable. The competitors, and the Volunteres. Without whom the event would'nt have happened.
Rock on.
