Looking at the surface the safe bet would be Magenta rear, purple front, especially with the long turns...

On my Corally F1, Pink or Dbl Pink rears with Purple fronts.. I didnt like the Magenta on the F1.

12th scale I run a yokomo and its foams so cant really comment, When I was messing around with 12th scale with a 4cell HotBodies T bar , Pink rears and Purple fronts worked well, but I didn't have many tires to play around with.

As it appears all mini wheel offsets are to scrutinized at the nationals, and to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Can someone let us know what the actual back spacing (hex base to rim edge) dimension of a "standard offset mini wheel" is.

Simple way to check is get a flat edge across the surface of the rim.. put a flanged tamiya wheel nut in location and the nut should be near on touching the flat edge.. that is 0mm offset, which is what tamiya stand rims are, the pre mount sweeps are 0mm aswell.

Just to let everyone know. I will have about 10-15 sets of the tyres approved for the Nationals tomorrow at the track. They are $45 a set (pre-glued and mounted). First in best dressed!

The schedule includes Monday 21st November. However, I presume that racing will finish on Sunday, unless it rains, and Monday is the extra day in case of rain. Is this correct ?

Yes there is. The people that have purchased only the qualifying sets and reach the A main will be given the option to purchase the A main sets for finals. The people that have already purchased A main sets of tyres will not be able to collect their finals sets until after qualifying anyway.
