using channel for flaps

I have a HiTec Eclipse 7. I want to use channel 7 for flaps. I would like to
start with the switch in the rearward position and the flaps be up. When the
switch is moved to the forward position, the flaps should go down.
I have both flaps operating on one servo.

Is this possible?

Are you trying to set this up in the ACRO mode?

If you are then channel 7 is controlled by the VR2 knob. You can use PMIX 1 or 2 to mix channel 7 to itself and then the channel 7 switch will control this channel along with the VR2 knob.
