Talking Hitec TX and Futaba RX

I currently use an "old yet trusted" Futaba Attack 4 with a pair of 35 MHz (35.180) FM PPM RX to fly two planes.

I was considering on purchasing a new Hitec TX/RX set as an upgrade; and use the existing Futaba RX. Is there a Hitec model that has PPM that could handle multiple models of aircraft?

Eclipse 7, Optic 6 and the Optic 6 Sport all meet your requirements. Using a Hitec One Way Trainer cable your Futaba TX can double as a buddy box. Both Eclipse and Optic 6 offer the benefit of a 35MHZ Spectra Module
