Guys
Say what you want about speed sports the place puts on a good race and the owner comes stright out and shakes your hand when he welcomes you for the night of racing. there were many people running more than one class and they were all having fun.
It has been years since the on-road scene was like that at SRS if it ever was. If SRS had had the fun welcoming atmoshpere like speed sports on-road at SRS wouldn't be on the ropes. Fact is if you talk to people around the state SRS is known for being elitist and not very friendly and in general not a fun place to race. What is going to be different at SRS to make everyone want to race there weekly??? Ray and Kenoi are promoting the Race and we hear nothing from the shop. We are all afraid to say anything in fear we wont have any place to race our cars. I hope some big changes are in store to secure SRS as a on-road powerhouse not just the big off-road powerhouse that it is. Hope this race is big and FUN to help turn things around.

That seems like a true opinion about SRS. I thought it was that way years ago, It has nothing to do with the owners but the racers themselves. When I went Scott was very welcoming but the most of the racers were not.

Rc lover... as you can see in previus posts at Speed Sports in north phoenix they plan to put carpet in a few weeks but right now it's concrete sprayed with VHT and its there where some of the hard core on road racers are meting right now so you can get some help, also theres parking lot racing at Hobby Town USA in Gilbert Az, thats the only on road as off right now but depending of the kind of car you have you can consider asphalt racing at Scottsdale Rc Speedway and attend our next big race in May which will include all the on road classes, tell your buddies about it and check for the race updates at this thread, the exact date of the race still to be disclosed.
