If you didnt get the email here is my question....Can I send the armature back for another? Since it was a brand new motor and I would think that it should last longer than 3 min. If not is it possible to purchase another? The rest of the motor is fine just the armature is shot.

Just let me know when you can

Thanks,

i just received my Team Brood motor. it's a Pro V2 7x2. i have a problem with it though. i hooked it up to my LRP Pulsar Competition 2 to do a run in. as soon as i start the motor run in, the motor spins and then stops and i get a "Caution Current HI" message on my chager. what could be the problem? i am very concerned as it is a brand new motor that hasn't even been run yet. please help me with this problem.

A 7x2 draws quite a bit of power.

I have stock motors that will shut off my Pulsar if I turn up the voltage much.

Oh, that reminds me.

Go into your options menu and set the motor run feature to start at 2 volts.
If it starts any higher it surely will not work. Say, if its set at 4 or 5 volts, it will draw more than the 12 amps the pulsar can put out just on spool up.

Try running it in on a 2 cell battery for a few seconds than hook it up to the Pulsar again.
Also make sure you have the timing set at 0 degrees.

It's perfectly normal, the LRP can't handle more then 10 amps of motor draw and a good mod motor will pull 10 amps at 1 volt, 2 volts well over 10 amps. This is one reason why many builders use the Turbo 35 for motor break-in, it can go to 14 amps.

The motor is 100% tested by br00d before it's shipped, just solder it in the car and rip!

Hi,

Is it possible to have news about order #1563?
Because of paypal limit, this order has been split and I send the rest of money in a second paiment?

If the order hasnt been shipped, is it possible to send it using EMS and I'll pay the adding shipping cost!!

Thanks by advance

Regards

There are many things that contribute to amp draw.
How free the arm is in the can or wether it is "binding", how fresh the magnets are, spring tension, type of brush and brush condition.

Give your setup on the motor and that should help to give a closer range, and how new is the motor?
