Default PM

Pete,

You got a PM.

Trav,

Great job at the Reedy Race. One down one to go. Cali should be a good race between the Br00dies.

Hi guys

Which of the following would be best for asphalt 12t limit touring on yoko BD.
track is small but open and pretty fast.

Checkpoint or cobalt?

I understand the checkpoints will wear brushes/comm less and have more torque.
Is this correct?

Thanks for your reply

loop - after the reedy race... i definately prefer the V2 over anything else.

here is my V2 setup from the race for all to try.

Team Br00d Mike Dumas edition 7x1
Sprint Brushes
MR Springs.32mm 9-coil 3.8 rate
Timing - 16 degrees
Final Drive Ratio - 8.57:1

the setup on Travis' motor was:

Reedy Handout quadmag
reedy 767 brushes
red springs on both the pos./neg.
Final Drive Ratio - 5.49:1

Thanks peter, will be ordering a checkpoint I guess.
Do you have any gearing suggestions for 12x2 checkpoint? I assume
it will be slightly different to the cobalt which I currently run @ 7-7.3 FDR.

Thanks man

gear it so it tops out just before you have to let off on the longest straight stretch.

Peter or Eddie,
I sent a couple of emails ablout a month ago to info@teambr00d in regards to a new CO27 motor in which the armature split by one of the balance holes after about 3 min racing. Im just wondering what the status is of the email.

If you didnt get the email here is my question....Can I send the armature back for another? Since it was a brand new motor and I would think that it should last longer than 3 min. If not is it possible to purchase another? The rest of the motor is fine just the armature is shot.

Just let me know when you can

Thanks,
