Is the new TEP1118 rotor on the Monster HP a high torque rotor?

Well this has been frustrating and I am not at all a happy customer right now. After a couple of very brief "sent from iphone" replies to my concerns about the Trinity motor, mainly querying how I'd tested the motor and suggesting I use a TEP1112 rotor, I had a closer look at the motor.

Typically (and I like to think my knowledge on motors is reasonable) I expect a motors stator to be within 0.1-0.2 milliohms of each other for each phase. This motor wasn't from day dot, and when I tested again last night it was still out. (Tested using a racing measurement systems MM2 Stator checker)

Phase A 31.0
Phase B 31.4
Phase C 32.2

I tested the TEP1118 rotor on a Trinity Igauss machine and came back with 1336/-1317 so the rotor seems ok.

But have a look at the inside of the stator, that aint dirt, it's actually flaking! Now a motor thats as new as this shouldn't do that. Particularly in a Blinky 21.5 car that has a 40mm fan blowing on it and temping at max 70c after a race.

My experience with motor companies and their support has so far been good, Motiv stand behind their motors and were very quick to rectify any issues, R1Wurks have also been very communicative and helpful, I was hoping Trinity would be the same but so far, kinda not feeling it so it's disappointing. It will be interesting to see if they either

a. Come to the party and help
b. Continue not replying to emails
c. Attempt to palm it off as user error
d. Insist I pay the $20 freight to send it back to the USA, wait the 2-4 weeks for it to arrive then ask for return freight.

But IMO this shouldn't happen.

That was the suggestion from Trinity customer support to my issues with the Monster "Try the TEP1112 rotor" No mention of the obvious flaking inside the stator. Extremely disappointed with Trinity right now.

I have 2 D4 1s motors. One is 21.5 for USGT and the other is 17.5 for WGT-R using 1s battery. What timing and gearing would you recommend. Will be running on 48' X 100' carpet track. It is older carpet.

I went through the issue of Negligible customer support maybe a year ago in regards to 1/8 motors. Needless to say i dont run them anymore. Switched to HW & Tekin.

Just picked up one the 24K Revtech 21.5 motors with the high torque rotor.

Having not raced blinky 21.5 in some years, can anyone offer a ballpark FDR and timing I can work from. Bearing in mind im in Australia, and its summer. I also have a 40mm Zeppin fan attached.

You will want to let everyone know the class you are racing (type of car), track size.

Oops...

21.5 touring car, blinky mode. Track is medium length, one main straight. Reasonably technical infield sections, good drive off corners needed.
