Hands down a faster motor than the previous 24k. Crazy rip and ZERO FADE. The Monster Horsepower will soon be a go to motor for many. Really loving mine so far.

Thumbs up TQ 1st Monster Horsepower

I was able to TQ and Win our Holloween race using my Monster Horsepower 17.5 with Revtech Batteries. I am still puzzled, yet impressed how much power this motor produces from start to finish with Zero Fading. This is going to be a Motor you're going to want In your pit bag for sure. Due back in stock in the next week or so due to the high demand of the first batch.

Pity us Aussies may not be able to use it with the regulating body proposing handout motors for controlled classes

Ok mine arrived, first thoughts on the bench:

Endbell was set to 50, on the checker was also 50 (better than the 24k which was 50 endbell only 37 actual)

Stator resistance was between 32.1 and 33 depending on phase, not used to that much variation, usually only 0.1/0.2

At 4A the 21.5 was churning out 2736kv. Rotor is a TEP1118 measured 1373/-1300 on the igauss meter.

I have a Monster Stock 21.5 coming that I may use in USGT, any idea of how to time/gear one of these for a large outdoor track? My ORCA is at 48 degrees and 3.4 FDR if that helps.

Nexxus Just curious. Did you ever check the TEP1113 rotor gauss rating from a 24k? How does it compare to other rotors ratings eg Fantom or Motiv? Just trying to get a comparison between them Thanks.

Well first race meet with mine, and it's disappointing at this point. I was well into the 18 second laps with the Fantom FR-1 and around there with the 24K and even the M Code. Best I could muster with the Monster 21.5 is a 19.199. Started at endbell 50, tried up to 60 didn't help (just got hotter) so wound it back, came off at 45c when geared at 3.0 FDR so being a larger track I put it to what I geared the Fantom, 24K and M Code at (FDR 2.7) but still can't seem to find the pace the other motors have. Emails to Trinity are unanswered, curious if the stator variation is playing a part. So at the moment it's a maybe this is worthwhile, not sure yet. (Still have the 2nd 21.5 I haven't touched and can't seem to be able to sell)

the Monster HP performs at the exact settings as the 24k, but at a bigger and better overall level.
I spoke to our Team Manager Kevin about your concerns. Please email him directly @ [email protected] so we can get this taken care of for you.
