You can go up to 2mm past the plus sign. Its a pretty significant jump. Ive been 3mm past but have to be careful with gearing at that point. Any further and it will start stuttering.

Ive yea to see anyone blow one up. Craig X had a 17.5 at 245 at IIC and it still ran fine but faded at the end of the run for obvious reasons. They are pretty bullet proof thus far.

Default ESC Warranty

I have a 4-5 month old ESC that needs warranty work. Who handles warranty work for Orca?

If you bought it from an authorized dealer in the US (They are traceable by serial number on the speedo) It is handled by About RC in Canada. But 4-5 months is not warranty. The warranty is 90 Days on them. I can send you the information if you Email me at TeamEAM @ me.com

Default Where can I get rotors for RX2 motor?

I have an Orca RX2 21.5 motor and I want to experiment with different rotors. I know there's a 12.3 silver rotor for RX2 motors with the part number OMA123PX but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one?

I'd run a torque rotor, or the largest diameter rotor you can put in the can, if you have that tuning option.

Default 21.5

what is the factory setting on the orca 21.5 for the timing notch? I switched out the sensor board awhile back and forgot to set the timing back to the correct setting.

please and thank you in advance.

Any updates on this? Might have missed it but only see the RX2's on the list.

Also, VXX vs VX on the ROAR ESC approved list?

Motors have been on the list for 3 months now.

ROAR currently has no one to do speedo testing so the VXX is still not ROAR legal. Until they get someone to do them there is no ETA on when the VXX will be ROAR legal for spec classes.

The VX is legal in all ROAR events for all classes.

10 degrees is where they come from the factory.

Most guys run them at 1.5-2mm past the + sign though.

Thanks Eric.

The link that is on the snowbird site for "roar approved motors" doesn't list the TX motors

http://roarracing.com/approvals/brushlessmotors.php

Just signed up on the ROAR forums and now I see it. Thanks again

Thanks

Anyone have the rotors in stock? Didn't see anything in searching google for the part numbers other than overseas, and didn't see them even listed on any of the sites for the US retailers(About RC lists these as $0.00 dollars so I'm sure thats a mistake)

Looking for -

OTR15MSH (modified rotor)

and

OTR125SN (stock 12.5 rotor)
