I guess just don't buy until its approved.

I kinda don't get the point that hobbywing just started making the motors without getting an approval. If they missed anything like this, then they just multiplied that mistake by how many motors they made.

EFra rule book is updated before this motor was produced, so not having it on roar would be a bad excuse.

I do agree that roar should be more transparent about what their working on, specifically to their affiliate companies. This way companies can make plans ahead of time.

I"m tired of this mess. I wouldn't have known that and have seriously considered this motor.... Now I guess I have to rethink it. It's really not hard to update something online instantaneously. Someone at ROAR has to have access to the internet more often than once every couple years, so we can actually see updates to rules when we are selecting equipment

Yes, not as much torque as a d3.5 with a HT rotor (but what is?) I feel like I can stay on power with the v10 motors because of how smooth the power build up is.

I had the fastest and most consistent lap times with the v10 than when I had a revtech with HT and d3.5 with HT.

Perhaps when they release a HT rotor, it will gain a bit more torque. As it is now, I enjoy the smoother feel but would like a tad bit more torque. I geared down to 4.1 and jacked the timing way up to get a better feel.

I'm also kinda worried about this rotor measurement thing. I only ever run club races though so it doesn't worry me that much but still kinda sucks.

Hi,

Is this generally available today or due to release in coming weeks ?

I don't see a lot of online store stocking this motor.

Can the timing on this motor be adjusted enough for use in application that require reverse rotation?

Angelo (Cobraracing on the forums) says that the HW v10 motors are about 2 weeks away from ROAR approval. We'll see if they get around to it.

The only motor that failed inspection was the 13.5T and that is being sorted now .
We had also a small issue with the end bell moving under high rpm and thats fixed now as well.
The only left is for Roar to get their side sorted and get the lists updated as i know we are not the only ones waiting.

Any idea when option rotors will be available? Is there a high torque version for spec racing?
