All wheelers will break and all wheelers are expensive. Gotta pay to play!

yes and no. my d413 never broke, not for trying though, lol. But it drove like trash. The new HB car looks pretty good. The yok has inexpensive parts, and aside from front arms wears better than the xray. But the arms are like $6 for a pair. The xray is a good car, but the parts are stupid expensive. That is the only downside to the car, imo.

I'm seriously torn between the 16 and the yz-4. I love my yz-2 and I wanna match it! Just irritated about the non factory kit with all the plastic parts.

Wait for the team kit or get an XB4 2016. Winner either way!

your hilarious man!

how can you be a winner with a yz-4? it hasn't even been released yet!! For all we know, it has AE quality plastics, sloppy as a HB, and a drive train disaster of a schumacher, and harder to work on than a losi!

They did ok at the worlds I suppose, but you cannot assume this car is great without it being released to the public.

If you are ok with the cost of ip keep. Get the xray. It is a strong platform.

Had to put my XB4 build on hiatus. Finishing it up now. What aftermarket shock pistons are you guys using that work perfectly?

I bought the Associated machined pistons but they are a bit thicker and need to be sanded down heightwise...

Avid or Schelle. Most common setup is 1.1/1.5 front and 1.1/1.6 rear. The Avids only come in sets of 4 so you'll have to drill out the rears or buy 2 sets. The Schelle come in sets of 2 so you can get the right size front and rear. I've used both. Can't go wrong either way.

I don't think that's right dude, I'm sure I bought two sets of two Pistons when I went for the AVIDs in mine, remember making sure I opened the right packet for whichever end I did first.
