Yeah I wish I saw that before I built my kit. I never had binding issues but the oil is deff a no no.
-Also, regarding the bearings that run the front belt, should they be touching the belt or just below it? Are they tensioners or just there to keep the belt in control?
Just barely touching, they are dual purpose and operate as a tensioner and to keep the belt in form under braking.
-Lastly, regarding the spacers that keep the LiPo from touching the belt, one seems like its further out then the other. I can't take out one of the spacers because then the batt will butt into the head of the rear screw. Is there a fix to this?.
When you put in the battery, turn over the car and check the edge of the chassis where the battery hangs off and use calipers and/or your eyes to determine if it is in fact uneven and if so then remove/add shims accordingly.

Thanks Ill try what you mentioned. Also, the "goop" that you guys recommend to use when installing the grud screw in the the back of the diff, is there anything else that would work if I don't have that particular stuff?
I appreciate the help, I know a newbs questions can be daunting sometimes and im sure ill have plenty more but I did find a lot of the answers i needed reading some of the posts in this thread.

What is the main difference and for what situation should be used those new v2 front spindles ?

Quality is ok and the price is good. These are the ones I used on my TCX, before an official HB item.

Yes. The upper and lower bulkheads for the TCX and TCXX are the same part number. Which means the towers are a direct fit too.

If HotBodies ones are too hard to find your can try the Jet-Hobby ones:http://www.jethobby.com/_Jet%20Racin...X%20Parts.html
