I used this setup all of last year at 3 different outdoor asphalt tracks with great success.

Only changes I would make..

- If it’s hot out, let’s say above 80F, I would switch to 40wt in the shocks
- With a lower grip surface I would run 2mm under the suspension blocks

thad - if I was going to try this setup and am using the TCX steering arms, not the +2mm ones that come with the TCXX would I want 6.5mm on the steering rack, instead of the 2.5mm?

I think 5mm is probably the furthest you want to go. Should be close enough

That's pretty much exactly the setup I'm using for 13.5 boosted on asphalt and it works great everywhere.

Interesting you say you use 2mm under the blocks in low grip. Doesn't this raise the roll centre and create less roll? Isn't more roll beneficial in low grip conditions? I'd be keen to know your thoughts, cheers.

No problem. Those are the settings at the top of my head. There's more but I need to find the PDF file with everything on it.

That's interesting... People were telling me the same... That this chassis is obsolete, not adapted to modern tyres, blah blah blah... It is working perfectly, in blinky 13.5T AND in mod 4.5T. Continue to find some working setup, that's just a matter of trying...

people say that because HB isn't releasing updates every year...to me, that says that the chassis works without the need for yearly refinements (cough xray cough)

just wish the part supply was a little better and more consistent instead of those periods where everyone it hunting for parts because the next run of parts didn't start yet
