Myron, on the TC4 setup, you have "club" typed in the front shim location. Which shims are those? Thanks!

for what its worth with all the battery chatter, I've been using these:

EcoPower "Electron" 2S Li-Poly 30C Hard Case Battery Pack (7.4V/5000mAh)

I've had very good luck with them, with very little fad over 8 minutes - and for $35, you really can't beat them

and if you're lucky, AMain gives you a 10% code that pop-ups on the screen

hey all... just 2 quick questions

1) has there been any movement on allowing the new Tekin RS-spec in?

2) for you guys that have tried the vented endbells - is there much of a performance gain? what about the new Boss motor over the 'standard' ballastic motors

not according to the specs tekin has on their site. this is the blinky-only RS. I run the novak GTB2 (but just swapped in a hobbywing), so its not a big deal for me - was just asking

I know you did and I know a bunch of guys posted it once tekin released the info about it

I guess with all the excitement of winning the Southern Nats, and the firebird body, it got pushed to the back burner

just figured I'd ask - like I said, i'm set on what i'm running and not planning on changing

Hey Rob/Darkside,

Jim (Tekin Prez) posted in the IIC thread that the new RS Spec can NOT be updated with any software or firmware. Its locked in blinky mode only and can not be take out of it or reprogrammed.

If you dont get in touch with them by next week I'll let Randy know you need to talk to him about it to get it VTA legal or possibly VTA legal.
