I moved mine from the 2011 to my 2012 and no problems.

No mods of any kind and yes they are worth it, it makes the car so much smoother thru the corners.

Might as well mention if you used 50mm or 52mm shafts as well...

From what I've read. The only differences are the upper and lower decks, the new servo position, servo saver, shock towers with an extra inner hole and the included hop-ups from the 2011 (Upper bulk heads, gear diff).

Hey Mike, I laid the '12 chasis over the 11' before building and the cutous front and rear under the bulkheads are different. The steering link post are also a little different. It's looking like the 12' is going to be awesome on asphalt. Contemplating running the 11' top deck and barrels for steering link to stiffen it on carpet if I need to, we'll see though.

How did the build go? going to NORA this Sat.?

Build was easy and trouble free. There's a lot less slop in the suspension compared to my 417. Was surprising that no shimming was needed, only spacers are needed.

Yes, I plan to go to NORA this weekend Have to work Sunday though

You will need XRA308036 and XRA308327 to make the aluminum shock bodies work.

Might as well buy the complete shock set. Buying the individual pieces cost the same as the shock set.

I run 52mm. I have 50mm too but I kept braking the diff outdrives. If you have any shims on the front you'll want the 52mm.

The aluminum shock bodies are not interchangable with the parts for the plastic shocks so you have to buy the complete set.

However, it's really not necessary as the plastic shocks are very good.

Also, the ECS drive shafts work on all T2 and T3 cars as the suspension parts have not changed.

Just order one from Canwest RC canwestrcshop.net or from another online shop.

Lou's Speedway in Dorchester (near London) stocks xray parts and he was getting a few t3'12 kits in, but I think they were all spoken for.

The only LHS that stocks a good amount on-road racing related items is muchhobby in richmond hill, but they don't stock xray.
You can check with Zoom Room Lou's or Action R/C in Kingsville.. Pinnacle will order you on as well if interested or as mentioned online with us.

Sure, I'll sell them I haven't used them since I went to 52mm, however it's just the shafts. I used the rest of it when I bought the 52mm.
