camber-front
I race TC4 on carpet midium high grip. And im running out of ides how too get faster.
Run foams, and hava all my time raced approx. 0deg camber in front(to keep the tires flat).
In what whay would the car act different with more negativ camber? 2deg?
Im also open for other suggestions how to go faster. long time to race day...

You might want to give the guys here a better idea of what the car is doing, other then just wanting to go faster. That can be done by the driver.

the effect of negative camber is so that the tires have the most contact patch during cornering. start with -1 degree all around and see what it does to the car.

If you want more turn-in one of the things that has always worked for me is lighter oil in the front, complemented with lighter springs in the rear to get more exit steering. This allows the car to react quicker in the front end when you get off power and then as you accelerate transfer more weight to the rear and get you out of the corner quicker. Again try a higher REAR roll center. Like old school touring cars used to be set-up high rear, low front.
Here's a link to Mike Lufaso's page. It's probably the best tuning guideline for this car available now.

BTW camber should only be used as a tool to make your tires wear evenly. It is not really a tuning option, it is a tire wear maximizing adjustment. If you want to get the effect of using more camber, use a shorter link, this allows for more camber change and vice versa with the longer link.

I feel a bit misunderstod. Most likley thats because of my bad english...
I have a set up that works very good, I'm looking for hints to get it even better, not to start all over again. Big thanks to CristianTabush, super tips. Will try that, Mike Lufaso's page is printed and now in my toolbox Associated's komplete tuning guide is also on its way, think I got what I need for a while now. Lot's of things to test, but no permanent track...
thanks

Heres a setup I was working on this weekend. Car felt real good and was pretty quick around the track. Got a few "That car looks railed!" comments in the pits
I was running with the Novak brushless setup. If I were running this setup with a conventional motor I'd a motor that doesn't cog much or else dial in some "creep" (bump up the throttle trim until the car can move by itself without touching the throttle)

BlackKat what is it like with different compounds front and rear?

Its the "norm" for us in the area. When traction gets real high then sometimes we run the same tire all the way around. Our track is lower grip ozite and usually setups from factory drivers with the same tire all the way around (per setup sheet) work on this track with the staggered tires.
