has anyone tried this controller with the non-ramping program? they have both ramping and non ramping at our club, and i would like to get an idea if it would be goood or not

Yep both modes run strong and today range using 1.4 without issue

Yep, loaded V1.4 firmware, all good...

Notes:
*it would be nice to see the Timing curve automated, like the throttle curves.
* Current Limit, RMP Trip Point, would be good to have on the same page so you don't have to open a new window... easier to check...

Great job!!!

Missed my racing weekend, as I locked up the Kinetic I had to change over to my old LRP SXX SS for the weekend, found it to be just as comeptitive without all this software issues... hmmmm. I'll re-install the Kinetic and test it next weekend.

Thanks ESCMAN the firmware is great.

Only question now is why the timing curve button is not working. I know you have to have more than 20 degrees but no matter what amount of timing is selected the timing curve window does not open.

I must not be soing something right because I can't get it to download. Now I also can's get 1.3 to open, I get some Adobe error message tath can not read the file or it sys the file is coded incorrectly. I fear that I may have done something wrong with how my computer works as I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to these things. I can use ebay and youtube though and that is pretty much all I use the PC for anyway besides tuning my Kinetic. This is the first problem I have had for a few months now.

hey rich, I'll call you in a bit, but yea, i have ran both the 2s and 1s versions in non ramping. they are quite good, even with the timing off, you still have all of the 'other' adjustments that novak is famous for.
