hi anyone know if the ta05 front knuckle fits the 415ms?

there is a alloy hopup for the ta05, was wondering if it was suitable for the 415?

They'll fit on the old style suspension that comes with the standard 415, but not with the LW suspension of the MS/MSX

what is the part number of the gold shaft on the picture??? Is it a Tamiya part??

also what are the dark grey ballstuds on the steering, are they titanium??

If so, where are they available?

They are tamiya plain fluorine coated tamiya ballstuds.

I would guess they are the florine coated aluminum ones offered by Tamiya

dang, the aluminium ones I have keep snapping off, which means i am going through uprights way too quickly.

I have been trying to run a spool (always ran 1-way for outdoor asphalt). I have broken two other brands. I now tried the Shooters and broke an outdrive also. They seem the sturdiest of the three but seems spools don't like taking hits like a 1-way. For the Shooters spool, just make sure to take a small rubber or plastic end hammer and tap the outdrive in until it is all they way in. Can't wait until the Tamiya aluminum outdrives come out so I can see how quickly I can break those.

I use the std steel ones in the rear hub carriers of my cars for that reason. The steel ones are a shiny black color. you could also try a screw and a ball stud nut.

i usually use either the grey steel on the steering and rear uprights, or use an extra droop screw and the alum ball nut. the alum male thread ball studs are best used in low load spots!
