LRPs don't like as much timing as most other motors (they have a lot of timing in them from the factory) so for boosted, use the -10 insert.

Start with about 40 boost, maybe 8 turbo.

20k end rpm, maybe around 4 or 5k start.
with the LRP X12 17.5 try the below settings with the 4 dot insert (-10 degrees)..

start rpm: 8000-9000
end rpm: 20000 to 22000
boost: 40 (42)
turbo: 15 (18)
delay: 0
ramp: 2

FDR i think should be somewhere around 5.5-6, but gear it to suit your track as the layout is an unknown to me.. you will prob be getting motor temps somewhere around 70 degrees when its geared properly.

you need to install the older software (in this case 203) then install the newer version (212) into a different folder on your computer..

for example..

v203 installed to "c:\program files\tekin203"
v212 installed to "c:\program files\tekin212"

then you just need make sure you have 2 shortcuts to the hotwire executeable which point to the 2 different folders.. shortcut 1 becomes v203 and shortcut 2 becomes v212..

no reason this shouldnt work for you

I am moving from 1s 10.5 boosted to Mod 5.5 and was going to run the blinking led profile as I dont want boost. Does anyone know what a good throttle profile would be to start on ?

Also the RS says sutable for 5 turn brushless max so I think it will be ok for 5.5 with 1s ?

I've run a 6.5 with boost with an RS in 1/12th so I would think a 5.5 blinky would be fine.

I would suggest Dual Mode over blinky for no boost mod.
It's noticeably smoother

And TP3.

So run dual but turn the advance right down ?
I just want the speedo to control the motor and not add anything if that makes sense. But if the feel is better i will try it.
Thanks for the help guys

Guys First time to run 5.5 no boost, I feel like the motor have a lot of torque, especially coming out on a turn, can anyone help me with my Tekin rs, I really want it race with no boost but if someone can give a set up for boosted I will give it try, track condition low traction and about 160x100
Thanks in advance

Any body have any Idea why my RS now acts like it has No Boost?I have reloaded the soft ware and recalibrated the transmitter. The ESC did not get hot,the most lights that showed on the temp was three.
This is the fifth that I have had fail but the first one where the ESC acted like has no boost.
