Thumbs up Nice find!

Looks good to me, and it's a car that was really raced in T/A. If it's openly available through Horizon, we should add it to the list of legal bodies.

Nice!

Now, HPI... <cough> Javelin <cough> Boss 302 <cough>...

Thank You everybody for the interest in these 2nd generation Camaro bodies.
Now I just need to get 1. The Mustang body from HPI looks good and is durable. The 2 piece design seems to work fine...5 runs with 6 cell foam and not a crack or paint chip anywhere. The 1970 Camaro was run in the Vintage Trans-Am series, so even if it is not legal, it would still look periodically correct in a field of these cars.

Time: Sunday, January 27th. Doors open at 8:00am, racing starts at Noon

For any of you guys contemplating making the trip for this event, just wanted to update some of the details about this trophy race. Michiana is a club atmosphere track, and is excited about this inaugural event.

Pre-registration will get you a tee shirt, and save some time in the morning for computer setup. So DO IT! They also are planning pizza for lunch (provided by the track), trophy girls and there is wireless internet at the track.

I'd urge anyone planning on the race on getting an entry into the track soon. Remember, T/A will be an exhibition class, but it already seems like there will be more than a few of them out there. I plan on bringing two cars, plus my stock rubber car.

Hope to see some of you guys out there...

I will be there, although I won't be running in this class (I only race a TC as of now (well for on-road things)), however I will be painting a few of the cars.

The bolink bodies I ordered and rejected looked like shoe boxes with a few wrinkles. If you squinted real hard and were on LSD, they sort'a looked OK.

I'll be running this weekend. It's our first race of the year and first time running this class.
