JFC, I mount the PT on the outside of the receiver mount vertically. I have also made a lexan PT mount which attaches to the same receiver mount and allows the PT to be mounted horizontaly. I think if you go back a few pages you will find more photos.
Check out the support page at www.motonica-usa.com for building and setup tips.

Thanks Garen. yes I have been to your site there. Been reading and printing everything there too .

Since I decided to get the Motonica P8.0R 2008 version, the transponder mount will not be a problem anymore.

I have a spare chassis, rear body mount plate etc.. I am actually building it now at the moment of typing now. this is just my lunch break.

Thanks for everything Garen. For sure I will be asking you more info again. I read this thread since page 1 and I confessed, a lot need to take care building the kit. yes, the motonica-usa site with its building tips and FAQ did help also. Thanks.

Hopefully will be done by tonight or the latest monday night

Please anyone update. I have been reading from page 1... imagine that.

Ok, I start with a question... if i have the option of getting the old Motonica and the new 08 version.. which one should I take?

The old one will come with the new 08 version at special prize. The new 08 version kit will come as... as new 08 version thats all.

If take the old one, I have extra deck and tank for that specific version...hmmm so confusing...

anyway want to shed some senses to this new 1/8th tester

thanks.
I would say look over the old one and make sure it is in excellent shape. If it is, you cant go wrong as you would have the new deck/ tank and chassis and options to use either. However, I would immediately install the other updates as they are extremely worthwhile, ie: rear body mount, front bulkheads with the carbon fiber front shock mounts

These are wheel covers made from capricron.
http://www.capricornrc.com/os_capric...roducts_id=619

Be aware they only fit KYOSHO style wheels.

Im just glad that this brand is in our local hobbyshop. I can say, I'm the only one using it and am sure glad about that. lotsa of stock . I don't have to cut 2mm off the pins to fit the other brands.

I heard through the grapevine that Scotty Gray, driving Art Carbonell's P8.0R 08 qualified 3rd and won round 2 of the FORGASS series at Ft. Myers.
