i had a look on Novak's website, and in the xxx-s i'm pretty sure both the POWER wires AND the sensor wires were considerably shortened,so i'm guessing it's ok to do it.

You shouldn't really try to shorten the wires. The assembly inside the motor is not easy to get to. Cutting the wires and splicing will usually lead to problems. The wire is not very easy to solder or work with so most times the average joe can't get them back together right. You should just coil and zip tie them in a nice little bundle.

hope u can answer these questions b4 u get offline.

1.I was on stock profile(No.6) with 7.14 ratio.I top out halfway thru the straights...does it mean i can use taller ratios?
2.Is around 60-70 C's or about 140F-160F acceptable temperatures for the ESC?

the schulze is a sensorless BL setup if i'm not wrong...
any cogging or brake fade problem with it?
i have seen other RCers install a 6V receiver batt pack to overcome the cogging problem...

Default MR4-SD

Hi,

Anyone got a pic of a SD with novak brushless mounted ?

Need reference on the mounting. SD is very tight on
electronics space.
