Yes, it is a brass battery tray. You can purchase it at:

www.ybslowinc.com

On the left side, click on purchase products then just find what you want. There are two different weights available.

So whats the advantage of using a weighted tray over the std one or the lowered graphite one?

If your car is underweight, the battery tray is centered and very low. Great place to add weight if needed.

XRay takes 1, 2, 3 & 4 in the SS Kyosho Nitrofest.
1 Mark Harrison 127 00:30:07.014 Fast Lap:00:12.563
2 James Burrows 124 00:30:02.895 Fast Lap:00:12.856
3 Ralph Monteleone 122 00:30:09.952 Fast Lap:00:12.862
4 Art Jenson 112 00:30:11.677 Fast Lap:00:12.883

Mark Harrison had his car dialed and was the car to beat all weekend. Running 42 shore tires was perfect for the traction. Seen many traction roll on the super smooth surface.

Running on a car park stlye track with lots off hair pin turns. 40.000 oils F-R. GRP tires,Light purple springs F-R.

Try running 50 shore tyres in the rear, then run 30 shore tyres in the front to compensate for the hard rears. Forget 40k oils inthe diffs, what you need is a spool front and rear. Also, light purple springs are no good, hot pink is more your colour. Change the gearbox as well, get one of those trick gearboxes with reverse gear, then you will be able to drive in reverse, you will probably finish more races as you won't be snapping the front suspension arms as often. Don't worry if you can't go quite as fast in reverse, because you will still give Grub a flogging.

Is anyone using the multi-flex one piece engine mount? It seems to make my car heavier, but is it adding weight in the right spot?

A few of guys here have tried it and most have gone back to the stock mount. Regionally our grip levels range from super low to med, I thinks its more of a situation where there just aren't any tracks in the area where chassis stiffening yields a handling benefit. Other who race frequently in high grip conditions may see gains.
