Thanks airwave,
Just 1 more question....lets say I want to make my rear car 3.5 toe in... I'm going to use rr 2 out and rf 3 out... Is that mean the track wide will be wider by 2.2 + 1.4 = 3.6.....
Is that correct?

Thanks

Default VTA setup

I was asked for my VTA setup from Snowbirds, I'm not sure how to post to petitrc so I've attached it here.

My S1 came today. But there is one bag missing . The bag with the plastics for the steering crank. Can somebody tell me, if there are more parts in this bag? Or just the 3 plastics?

I´ve sent an e-mail to Spec-r, maybe they send me a bag...

greetings,

Chris

Default New Chassis Options

I see Spec R is releasing new optional chassis...

Type A Upper Deck
http://www.spec-r.com/default/index....roducts_id=485

Type B Upper Deck
http://www.spec-r.com/default/index....roducts_id=486

2.2mm Chassis
http://www.spec-r.com/default/index....roducts_id=484

I'm interested in them all...

I wish I could have more track time with my car. But these options will be on my shopping list

I'm very interested in the S1 to get back into electric and RC. I have read this thread from the front to back.

My question is what budget combo/or pieces should I get for the ESC/BL Motor and what batteries?

What kind of characteristics should the different thickness give?

Should give you more mechanical grip. If you guys look on the website there are a bunch of other goodies like aluminum bones for the rear driveshafts, alum. Layshaft and a few other things. Also to let everyone know I have moved on to another chassis brand but feel free to pm me with any questions regarding the r1 and setup help.

I can't remember what all came in that bag. And as we all know, they don't provide pics with the contents like other companies do.
Spec-R might have you contact the shop you bought it from for a replacement. That's what they did for me.

Default Shock caps.

Wrote awhile back with regards to problem with one of my shock caps not being able to fit securely. Wrote to Spec R and they sent me a replacement shock cap that fits snugly and eliminated the problem.
They also sent extra shock ball end which snapped whilst I was assembling.
Thumbs up for good customer service!

A couple of questions,
1) Anyone has limited travel or rather stiff (vertically)front and rear arms with e standard 50mm shafts and recommended tie rods lengths? If so, what is the recommended remedy?
2) I seem to have problems securely a shock cap tightly on one of my shocks. Anyone has issues? Recommended or suggested remedy?
3) Read that some of u use additional flange bearings 5x8x2.5..improved fit and performance?
4) Recommended to run with some slop in the front and rear arms or fill the gaps with spacers?

Appreciate your inputs.
Thanks.
