How is track width adjusted with the SE kit? I see two sets of arm mounting holes to move the arms either forward or back for two wheelbase positions but I don't see any holes to move the arms in and out for width. Am I supposed to just shim the wheels?

For the SE, you have the option of dremeling off the tabs that are no longer needed with the narrower chassis plate.
The wide plate is great at a major event where traction goes off the scale. But, I would like to see a middle width FE plate at some point in time.

Thanks Bill. Sounds like I would need an option part to adjust the track width with my SE.

The wide plate does provide stability; but, you also give up a certain amount of steering response with it. Probably not an issue when traction is high. I only find it necessary to use the wide plate at a major carpet event when traction tends to get way up there. Currently have the narrower plate in all three of my WGT cars; and, the wide plate at the ready in my pit box.
Forgot to say that I routinely have to trim the front wheel wells a tad more for wheel clearance with the wide plate.

1/10th and 1/12th front ends only refers to the lengths of the king pins and related springs used on both sides. On a smooth fast carpet track I normally use the 1/12th setup. For asphalt, it is always the 1/10th versions. You can get the most used king pin and spring options for maybe $25.
A standard width FE plate comes with the kit and the #17403 wide reversed servo FE plate lists ($16 list).
With the #3348 long dual-mount upper arms ($4 list) you need a #3277 graphite cross brace ($15 list) (which is actually made for a 1/12th scale; but, is easily modified for use on your WGT car).
That's all of $60 for the above options; plus, add a #1776 adjustable brace ($17 list) for pretty much every option I use on my LE/SE's.
There were individual option parts for my TCs that easily cost more than that...LOL
Cheers!

I used the short ball cups on the shock of my new SE kit and I have excessive droop with no apparent way to shorten it. Are you guys using shock limiters (like fuel tubing) to limit droop?
Edit - I used a small section of fuel tube as an internal limiter and fine tuned the droop with the ball cup position and I got the droop I wanted.

All three of my WGTs have one o-ring inside the shock to limit the travel.
I believe the shock comes with an extra o-ring for this purpose.

I tried putting the extra o-ring in the shock and I still had about 3mm of droop with the ball cup screwed in all the way.

What the difference between these 2 springs?

I see they are both purple. But are they same rating? I know CRC had to switch spring makers And the new one is CLN3411. Reason why I am asking is that I have the older one CLN32995. I was going to use with that SG1 guy set up that everyone is using. But I wasn't sure if he was using the old one or new one. Can someone shine some light on this. I have some of the older springs and just want to know if there is a difference.

Per Brian Bodine (Slapmaster), get the new CRC center/side springs to be current with setups from team drivers.
Check Slapmaster posts for his take on the new springs.
