No real names....Dog the bounty hunter is after me....LOL That could be me looking at the cyclone Things out here are fine. I have been taking a break here and there but plan on picking up my racing again this season. The hot bodies car looks pretty killer so I want to give it a shot. It was this or the 416 for the 08 season.

looking to trade my xray t2 '007 US for a andy moore cyclone. Is there car any good with 2 ball diffs on carpet? Where do you guys buy parts online? Ive seen a limited selection from stormer and tower.

eBay has a great set of aluminum purple parts for it for cheap!

For 540 silver can can go with the setup which everyone normally uses.
http://www.hbeurope.com/pdfs/setup_A...ore_worlds.pdf

Except use a ball diff or one-way upfront, and change the rear toe in to as low as possible so that it still handles. Typically i would put a 2 degree block in the rear.

Personally from feedback ive seen around the Cyclone is not as good on carpet as it is on ashphalt.
I ve heard rumours that there is a new cyclone which may be more suited to carpet. I think there are also after-market BMI chassis's which are stiffer and more suited to carpet.

Online a lot of people use rc-champ (japan) is probably the cheapest, but often out of stock of parts and they dont have an online store which you can check to see what is in stock.
www.rcmarket.com.hk (HK) usually has good stock of cyclone parts at good prices and their online store shows their stock levels.

I think the TC 5 is meant to be good, but ive heard you have to hop up the standard kit a bit, and im not sure if they still have all the go-fast parts which people want.

The TC5 worked killer for me on asphalt and I had it going pretty well on carpet. I just wanted to try the hotbodies since it was the car I was going to buy before the TC5 but the cheaper cost had me favoring the TC5. Scotty has been fast on asphalt and carpet with his so I figured if you can't beat em join em. (but I did beat him for the last carpet race in stockton) I will have both cars to do back to back testing. I will run which ever I feel is faster for certain tracks

I cant really complain about the cyclone, I fixed the diff screw problem (thanks to scotty) and I will try some new parts up front and see if that will take more abuse so I can actually finish

You just couldnt resist the purple is all though.......
