First club race yesterday here in Greece with the RB6 preping for the upcoming National race and my first win since I went with Kyosho two years ago.

This car is so much easier to push than the RB5...I was cruising all day and IF I made any mistakes I could push really hard for a couple of laps and make up for the lost time!

Track was low to medium traction and I made some small changes to my base setup and the car felt just perfect...I had some push on power in the one corner exit but I quess that is down to soft rear spring (used pink to get some traction)

Great car!

My attempt at the T-plate Chassis mod...

Installation

Completed

Notice, There is a slight bulge to the chassis after installation. I made sure that the T-plate sit flush on the bottom of the second/lower pocket as well.
This is without shaving anything off the thickness of the T-plate.

I was thinking of doing that, but I need it to appeal to the masses. I didn't want to look to "Pro". But thanks for the idea....

Slant EyEs (Jason?): if you have any feedback to Diggity or maybe they are reading this perhaps they could put a tongue on the front of the battery strap to help keep that piece of foam in the car during violent crashes. Or is it stuck in there pretty good from the bottom?

I noticed that when I tried to do mine. The tranny was sitting up higher and if I screwed it down into the car I am sure the bulge would be present.

What we need is a small shim the thickness of the gap. Was it posted how big of a gap that is?

Not sure but if you took a couple of thousands off the tangent of the bottom of the case you could probably get away with it. Tough to tell which part of the case is preventing a flat fit. It bulged just ever so slightly...

Caught part of a pipe last night and broke the rear pivot block part: UM508C.

Can I replace this part w/ the ST Racing Aluminum Rear Pivot Block Set that is listed for the RB5?
Part: http://www.teamstrc.com/index.php?ro...product_id=688

The RB5 part is: UM508B, which is the same as the ST Racing block. UM508C is the same as the UM508B, but has been updated for the wing mount - according to the description.

Can I use the ST Alum Rear Pivot Block set on the RB6?

Thanks.
