you might feel like the buggy has too much steering. I started with 25 as well. I flipped it to 30 this weekend and it toned it down a little bit. you can go all the way up to 34 degrees of total caster if you feel like you need to tone it down even more. I also took out the shim underneath the caster block, but I havnt ran it with it out yet.

Does anyone have a list of differences between the RTR and the kit?
It looks like the only difference is the shocks and dogbones VS CVs...

Molded wheel hexes, rear dogbones, molded shocks, non milled / non hard coated 7075 chassis, will the transmission be the same? I tossed around the idea of getting one to start racing again, talked myself out of it.....Id have a grand into by the time it was all said and done with upgrades and replacing elecreonics as they die etc..or get the pro kit and do it right.....
I found a used artr setup for $600 Im getting locally, nice roller, tekin rs, reedy 8.5, racers edge shorty and futaba bls servo, cant wait to get back on the track...havent touched a transmitter since this time last year, lol

I think the way that i have the two wires zip tied together is gonna solve that problem. The positive wire was the one hitting the mode button and that was before i zip tied them together. The way i have it now, there's no way it can hit the button. But I like your idea of taking out the buttons. I might just do that. Will it void the warranty if I open it up though?

I have piles of RB5 stuff, and electronics.
I have hexs
The CVs are the same size
Shocks are too
IDK about the tranny, does it use the same diff/idelers/top shaft as the Rb5?
