And finally some race pics. I've never tried to take pictures of moving rc cars. It's tough. Some of these are a little blurry.

Really wish this one had come out a little clearer...diggin' the shadow in it.

Default Awesome Track!

Went yesterday for the first time, what a great facility! Talked to Dan and did some turn marshalling. Didn't end staying long as I brought the SC8 which was not tuned and didn't want to deal with the issue. Couple questions though, if late and no tables are available, can you set up your own? Are there rules about running cars outside of the fence, for tuning purposes? Last, Dan utilizes the AMB transponder system, is there a certain type of AMB product or any one will work and can you use other transponders with that system? Thanks in advance and I look forward to getting on the track!

Great day and track. Sorry I had to miss my main but had a great time. Big turnout and top level competition.

Yeah, you can set up your own tables, and canopy. if it gets so crowded that you cant fit in the pit area (not that often, but has happened), you can set up along the outside of the track walls. Dan has electricity along the outside of the track also.

AMB pretty much has a hold on the market, when it comes to timing devices. I heard there is a company out there that makes clones, but not to sure how much they are, or if they are any good. You pretty much have to drop the 100.00 to get the AMB transponder.

As for running outside the fence? I have not heard any official rule, and have seen people do it for a few minutes. Basically for a quick check/tune. Im sure he wouldnt want everyone out there bashing around though.

I hope this helps.

Yesterday was a blast. Fun new layout, and good competition. It was great to get back out to ARC. Ill see you all out there again soon!

Hey guys. I have a Ofna Ultra LX one. Are those pretty popular to race at ARC? And how do the hold up?

Thanks Chris. I need to play around with the camera's manual settings some more and work on my timing. Little buggers are fast.

That car is older, I don't think anyone else is running one, but I wouldn't worry about that. Just bring it out and run it. You can bring your 10th electric cars as well, in case enough people show up to run them. Dan will usually throw all the Slash and 10th scale drivers together to make a class.
