The manual is not very helpful though.

It mentions the vairious combinations about different arm lengths and "wide" or "Narrow" pivots but none of them are stated in degrees.

Since there are 3 degree choices on the setup sheet I'd assume that you have to use a combination of the different holes. But wouldn't that affect the spacing of your arms depending on whether you are using the long ones or short??

Can someone please help.

Thanks.

Order the 1 degree outer pivot block p/n LOSA9696.

Most of the pivot angles on the R are set with the aluminium pivot blocks.

I'm using the XXX-S Pulley on my Type-R... I had to ream the center hole so it fit... Can be a pain to make it really centered but its a possibility...

I tried Schreff's pre-Vegas Horsham setup tonight with Jaco Prism dblpink instead of Parma magenta and it felt pretty great. I don't think I'm cut out for lightweight bodies though. :-(

Mine and Dumas' setups from the IIC are now posted on the Losi site.

I ran the same setup in LV other then I was using Cyan in the front but the older Parma's and it still felt pretty good and was easy to drive considering I had no carpet time until IIC. I was using a Parma Alfa body on mine also. I am not Schreff, but his setup worked for me.

I wouldn't worry so much about a lightweight body. Larry ran a regular weight on his car and it didn't seem to have any ill effects on handling. It was more of an insurance item than anything else not having to worry about tucking.

I know with all the tucking issues I'm surprised some companies haven't come out with a multi-thickness body keeping the higher parts of the body lightweight and the lower areas a little thicker keeping keeping the weight low and the body more rigid where it needs to be.

Hehehe.... yeah... like make it thicker where it needs to be... That'll be the roof for me, with the amount of carnage that can occur in some finals, its not uncommon to get onto the straight on the roof and passing the transponder loop!!

I remember talking to Cuffs at the IIC and he mentioned that Andy Moore's body on his rubber tire car had bracing in it for the roof and sides. I guess they "Moorespeed" line of bodies is even lighter than normal light weights. He had to brace the roof and sides so it wouldn't collapse. Kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.
