Huh,

You obviously got a different kit than I did.

Did they fix the Weak C-Hubs yet and the sloppy Inserts that go into them?

I cannot comment on strength as I have not raced the car yet but they look like there is more material on the hubs all round.

As for the inserts, mine fit very well indeed. I put one in the wrong way up and had to fight to get it back out because the fit was so close. Maybe you had a sloppier set of hubs but mine fit very well.

Neal

Does anybody know where you can get other sizes of roll bars for the 6.1? I see the roll bar set #31362 comes with more bars than the kit box did. I have found #31364, but do not know if that comes with just 4 bars (stock kit bars) or 4 pairs.

You can go to your local hobby shop or hardware store and look for music wire (or piano wire). It comes in small sizes in small steps, and you can cut it to length for the TC6.

Each bar set (31364) comes with 4 pairs of bars.

Generally speaking ... for high grip indoor asphalt, or even high bite carpet, what is the starting point most of you are going with regarding spacing the front and rear arms (track width) ? Specifically what shims are you running between the arms and the inner uprights ? Thanks !

Maybell, thanks that is exactly what I was looking for.

Grippgoat, I have heard of people doing that. But I wasn't sure if the steps between each size of wire was similar to the actual set. Plus the music wire at my store is sold in bundles of 4. I don't need that much wire laying around.

Try running 1.5mm in the front on each side to give you 3mm total and none in the rear. (Thanks Kody) That reduced traction rolling on high bite carpet. I used AE 1/12 spacers.

Generally a chassis with no electronics. Probably no tires or body either.
