1 of my m3 screws for the shock mounts had a dodgy start to the thread as well, I have loads of these so not a worry.

Im a bit dissapointed so far with these couple of items..

Have you guys had any issues like this or have I just been really unlucky.
I didn't have any problems with mine. I had a few glitches with my 2011 but none this year with the 2012.

Ran the car for the 1st time at a small trophy race this weekend. In my opinion the car transitions very smooth. I started with my base 11 set up and found myself working to get more steering into it... it's just planted!

Small differences made a huge difference.

Hi, I am located in canada, ontario, and been searching for this kit, can any one hep me out and point me in the right direction as to where to purchase this kit, I tried advance hobbies as they used to carry xray, but do not have it and do not want to order it anymore, but they still have a couple of brand new t1 for sale lol, so if any one knows of a hobby shop in ontario canada, that will have it in stock thanks

One hole in one drive axle was to small. Had to press the pin through it several times to have the a moving CVD.

I finished the M2.5x6 screw when disassembling the gear diff. Material too soft. Replaced it by 10.9 steel screws which should last for eternity.

Just order one from Canwest RC canwestrcshop.net or from another online shop.

Lou's Speedway in Dorchester (near London) stocks xray parts and he was getting a few t3'12 kits in, but I think they were all spoken for.

The only LHS that stocks a good amount on-road racing related items is muchhobby in richmond hill, but they don't stock xray.

sould i just wait for the 417x, or is this car a lot better car, i have alway had a tamiya, jut sold my 417 never build it .I used to have the first t1 when they came with the set up system included with the kit and never liked the car , but if i were to get this car, where can i find the part numbers for the battery holder as in the above picture, part number of if they even make a ball diff for the rear, and the aluminum xray shocks, I,ll order from nexus racing and might as well place a bulk order for everything, or like i said just wait for the 417x thanks

I went from Tamiya to Xray and I'll never go back. The Xray setup window is much larger and the Xray parts quality is miles ahead of Tamiya. The T3 is so far from the T1 that you cannot even consider comparing the two.

If you want to run a ball diff they sell it, part number 305003:

And the battery strap kit, part number 306163-K:

Anyone know if the ECS driveshafts fit the 2012? Nexxus Racings site says they are only compatable with the T2.

Thanks in advance

Did they change a lot on the 2012 version? I'm thinking of buying a second hand 2011 version because a lot more cheaper for me. The 2011 T3 that I'd like to buy has a spec R gear diff in it btw.

Any mods need to be done? And are they worth it?
