Team Titan ARC R10 190mm EP Touring Car
#301
I've tried lower front than rear and lower rear than front. The car never seemed to like it. It didn't feel balanced to me especially when the traction got higher. I like 0.5 shims all around when traction is high.

Jim,
So did you go back to stock arm sweep blocks. I've tried number 2 blocks in the front running parallel no arm sweep and steering entry suffered. I then increased steering ackerman shim from 1mm to 2mm and got it back. Now it has smoother mid corner and exit but didn't sacrifice entry steering.

Hey guys, one more thing i have found during practicing is making the wheel base longer in the rear (3mm front and 1mm back) frees up the car and and gives better mid corner. This is with the stock lower chassis on high traction carpet.

On the ARC, i tihnk it has more to do with reducing the driveshaft angle as much as it does the actual wheelbase. I have been running full long (+2mm) for ages now, and the car has been markedly better than in kit trim. I could never get rid of a weird on power push at the kit middle position, and going short, would make the car squirrelly under power.

Debating on whether to put VTX1 or VTX10 speedo in car. Difference is weight. How are you guys on overall weight with the car?
Sorry, electric off road guy at heart. Where are you guys starting with shock oil? From my understanding 350cst can be like 3 different measurements - would most consider that just 35wt?
Thanks guys.

The driveshaft angle is important factor as well and to reduce overall stress is important. Good Point!
Weezy- By moving the rear arms towards the back there is less weight on the rear tires thus allowing the car to rotate and free up the rear. I know it sounds counter intuitive but this is what is felt when driving the car.
