if its correct you were also running the 4.5T thunderpower with boost 30 and turbo 30 deg. is this correct?
i started with boost 6 and turbo 20-30 which already produced a hot motor (80-90°). endbell timing on motor 10°

For the V3 speedo user, we suggest you to try FIRMWARE 0511_BETA, it is faster than the previous version. And the punch for the low end is better.

Now i will put on a fan, to get the motor a bit cooler. I don't think the temps are too much of a problem, i have read that the ThunderPower motors can cope with more if needed.
How much do you use full throttle? I only used it on the straight, as the turbo gives to much power to use in the infield.

cause the speedo support 3S LIPO, the normal high voltage is around 12V, so the software set the default value to 12V, and record the lowest voltage if captured by the program.
If you disable the voltage cutoff function, it will show12V.
If you disable the voltage cutoff function, it will show12V.

i ran 511 beta on sunday and it was great !
did notice the 12v in the data logger, will activate the low voltage cut off and see if it reads correct after that

Logging
Is anyone having trouble with the logging function? My Esc temp reads ok, Motor temp I use ThunderPower motors so not sure if these will work for this function but it reads 0 after a run, Min battery voltage is always 12.6v and my motor RPM is reading 68,000rmp...on a 10.5 motor ????
I am switching it off by the button after a run, plugging in program box, switch ESC back on again and taking reading then, I think this is correct..
Thanks,
Keith

Hi guys, I know a lot of you have moved on to the new v3. But can some one clear this up for me about the old xerun 120A? I am thinking of buying a hobbywing xerun 120A (the old version) and I am looking at this combo here. It's a xerun 120A + program box + 4.5T motor.
http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-4-5t-3...-120a-lcd.html
In the description, it says the xerun 120A is a version 2.0 and not a 2.1. What is the difference? Is that just a firmware difference? or is there something else?
I am new to hobbywing esc and have heard good things about it. I know some of you guys are going to tell me to get a v3 instead. But I found it a bit too expansive at the moment. And I trusted that the old xerun 120A is still a solid performer. So I would really appreciate it if someone can clear this version 2.0 and 2.1 issue for me.
If the deal really comes with a v2.0, would I be missing out a lot of the programming functionality? Should there be anything I need to worry about? I really don't mind getting something older for a cheaper price. I just want to know what I am missing out on.
