I'd go back to the standard chassis if you're running foams. The ITF is for rubber tire racing and is likely way too flexy for foam. I find you can get away with running hard chassis with rubber but not flexy with foam. Too much traction with foam will cause slow corner speeds and traction roll.

The Losi ball ends will work, but at the center steering link watch for binding, you may have to remove a small amount of material from those ball ends at the center link only. Other than that no problems what so ever, very easy to move the ball studs from hole to hole.

Problem stripping spur gears!?!
For some reason I have been stripping spur gears left and right
I first thought is the the RW spur that I was using...then I thought it was that I switched to PRS pinions. So I put in a Kimbrough spur and Robinson pinions which I had been using for years and they stripped! I have probably stripped an few spurs over the years but not 4 in 2 weeks. Anyone else have this problem. I notices some play in the spur gear holder...could that be causing it?

Anybody have play in the center pulley? You can rock ithe spur back and forth a little before the pullies even move. Is this normal?
How do you guys do the oring mod on the ITF toplate. Just a longer scew and flat washer? Do you put an oring under all four screws?

I did also.. The TIR layshaft fixes this.. I put some shrink tubing over the set pins on the stock one and it fixed the problem.
