Bart, there are no rollbars available for the 05 yet, that's why no-one uses them.

Thanks Tony, I've got my fingers crossed that it has enough front clearance to work as for some reason I can't work out I'd really prefer the Abarth to the Swift but the shell will ultimately be the deal breaker, no point buying the Abarth to have to faff about and get a Swift shell later on. It's kind of the same illogical logic I used to justify buying a Buggy Champ.
@ Tony Gray
With the "rollbars" i mean the parts D2 and D3 (numbers from the manual).
Those parts are not always mounted on the pics i saw.
Thats the reason for my question.
Thankx Bart

Some people leave them off, some leave them on.
Most racing rules would require that they are left on I would suggest. Certainly ours do.

I built mine up with them and when I first ran the car it was twitchy. Removing the rollbars seemed to calm it down and they have stayed off ever since.
Now we have more M05's appearing at our club I find many have them attached and to be honest there's not much in it performance wise.
I guess it's personal preference and you have to admit the chassis does look better without them

Tony,thanks for your reply.
FIAT SHELL
The Fiat shell will fit on the Xevo. I have a standard Fiat shell painted and fitted to mine now. I will post pictures after.

3Racing M-05 front bumper w/ Swift body
Can someone post a picture of the 3Racing M-05 bumper with a Tamiya Suzuki Swift body? I want to see the bottom of the car with the body on for fitment clearance. Thanks!

Fiat Shell and Xevo
Photo's as stated. This car is plenty fast with the 3Racing speed gear spur 33T and a 23 pinion.
I have found the 60D's work on the front and the small Pits on the rear. I will be testing 60D's all round as the basis for TITC testing.
Battery tray is the Atomic tray double sided taped to the chassis, so still allows flex. I am still testing springs and shock lengths. Thank you for the suggestion Greg, works a treat. I do not have any issues with the velcro strap.

Calvin.

i was wondering if anyone could help me, how change the m04 so 1:10 touring car body fits.
Is there a dedicated mini TRF shock from Tamiya? I have found on the Tamiya site the shock bodies, and I suppose everything else from the TC shocks would fit, but I would like to know if there's a complete shock kit they offer.
And one more question, does the kit (Abarth) come with M grip tires by any chance? I guess not, but want to be sure.

The TC shocks would work as well.

Try TA54000 .. full set incl 3 pairs of springs
Arbath comes with standard Tamiya mini tyres. The M grips have to be purchased in pairs the same as the S grips.
The TRF mini shocks are the best if you can afford them or get a set of the 3Racing or Yeah ones. These come in a pack of four and include extra springs as well.
The 3Racing spring set will fit onto the standard TRF shocks. This gives you some more spring choices.
