Mike, Where are you getting the atomic tires from? I'm trying to get a set but can't find them.

Do any of you run on carpet? If so what is a good High grip tire?

the stock HPI tires are actually pretty soft - and HPI did come out with a soft version of the Cup Racer tires, those might work nicely on carpet

you really only need 1 for the car...the rear one is also the spur gear holder and that's already metal

its the front cup that's weak and molded from plastic

Hey, remember whaen the Cup Racer first came out over a year ago and HPI said on their website for the car that "coming soon from HPI is an all-new selection of classic sports cars from the pages of history"? That is still on the Cup Racer page on HPI's website to this day, and yet, to date we only have 3 bodies available here in the USA. There is the Datsun 510, the Datsun 240Z, the Porcshe, and a Toyota Corolla( although I fail to see how the Toyota qualifies as a "classic sports car")

In Europe and elsewhere, HPI also offers a beautiful 1970's BMW 2002 Turbo and a Honda Civic(again, the Honda is hardly a "classic sports car") Why don't we get that beautiful BMW 2002 Turbo here?

I'm starting a list of "classic sports car" bodies that I would like to see for the Cup Racer.

1. 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO
2. 1965 Cobra Daytona Coupe
3. 1972 Lotus Europa JPS Edition
4. 1961 Jaguar XKE

Well there is the start of my list, what bodies would you guys like to see HPI do for the Cup Racer? Post them here.
