Thanks. No one had them in stock a day or 2 ago.

Tower is pretty sweet for bigger purchases. I got a nice no tax + discounted deal on my T5m kit (and my 44.3) and then they send you E-cash from said purchase. Was just able to order the front clamping axles and 2 sets of the 8.5mm hexes for free.

Yeah, I got my T5M for $244 shipped using my Super Saver discount. Although I had it back-ordered months ago, so I don't think it qualifies for the March e-Cash. They have killer super save member coupons for smaller purchases now too. I just ordered some tires and more factory team bling for my T5M and got $15 off of my $79 order. My only gripe with Tower is that it takes them an extra day to process the order and get it out the door compared to A Main. I love A Main too, but you'd have to spend over $150 to get $15 off at A Main.

I know the setups will be hard to come by for a while but if anyone plans to run on carpet please post setups that do or don't work.

Amain, is good for turn around time and points. Pretty much can always get 10% off though. They don't always have the items you can get at Tower. Tower has some nice LRP balance leads, 20 inches and much cheaper then trinity lighting leads if your looking. Got the today with the clamps. Finished truck today, rattle can paint, good to go tomorrow.

Had 1st run today,,and this thing is hooked up straight outa box,,
Loved it,,so easy to drive,,7.5 motor,,med to high grip outdoor track.
The only thing I did notice was that the front end dips a lot coming into corners,,
was thinking of a spring change to stiffer than blue? ,,,other than that it's awesome.
What ride height is everyone running,?,and have you changed shock oil to different than book.?

But here is where I'm starting as far as springs and shocks.

Front

Schumacher Stagger Rib tires
2 X 1.6 pistons
42.5 AE oil
AE orange springs
19 mm ride height

Rear

Schumacher Vee 2 tires ( I didn't see the mini spikes in stock but these look somewhat similar)
2 X 1.7 pistons
37.5 AE oil
AE yellow springs
19 mm ride height

Also running the gear diff with 2K oil in it.

It's like driving a truggy if you've ever had one. If not, it's like 1/10 buggy speed without the bumps affecting the chassis. Almost like cheating and so much fun to drive punched.

Agreed. My first r/c that I raced was a truck. I can't wait to get mine built.

Did a quick paint job to finish mine up in my usual color scheme.

Can you get a ST truck to 19 mm ride height

Won't be able to say for sure until my springs get here, but I'm not seeing why I wouldn't be able to run that low. May have to use the 5mm offset perches rather than the 9mm.
