Hey John, I'll take some advice.
60 foot straight, 17.5 pulse motor, Ko SC 1.5, rubber tire, whats a good starting FDR? Timing on SC and timing on motor?
Any input appreciated.
Thanks

I would have the speedo set on the second most aggressive profile #7 .
The motor with the timing on 10 degrees to start. I recommend the highest "C" rating battery you can fit in the car. Capacity is not that important as long as you never over discharge it. Start with about a 4.4 final , if everything is going well your motor should be coming off the track at less than 140 degrees. I also like to put the throttle exponential on +50 to help me keep some momentum in the corners with out using too much trigger.
Good luck!

The Tekin has way too many options. lol
But the boost may not be effective for stock 17.5 because you will always be in the boost. I'd try it with out boost but an aggressive profile as well as the expo.

Theres a Bullet edition?
Isn't that the SXX speedo? (MOD)
I was under the impression the SPX was "THE" speedo for 17.5 and 13.5
The Losi Excellerin and the Tekin RS and pro models are the closest things to the SPX . The LRP is far and away the easiest to program/use.

thanks for the info corey and john. the track i'll be running on is not that big and i know some of the guys run smaller spur to compensate for the extra traction, i threw an 88t 64pitch with a 40 pinion (4.52fdr) im using the lrp tc spec speedo with an smc 5000 28c lipo. but it does look to me like i need a bigger spur but i'll try anything until i get it right so anyways thanks for the info guys and please no more dicks! lol

Quickness and not speed is going to be key on a short track like that.

i had my automatic brake set at 25 with brake frequent set at 0.794 or 0.792 (i forgot the exact number).
FDR for my car was at 3.9 and 4.1 ( i played with both) settled on 4.1. with the straight being over 140ft. rest of the info you can get from the BMC thread.
also, there's are plenty of great profiles on the BMC thread. check it out. back to 416 programming.
